here are many new members who may not recognize old rules of this group, so I want to remind them:

1. Only digital work made in GIMP (GIMP with other programs are good too).
2. You must write in the description which program you used (you can use a stamp, I like stamps). We are all users of this software so we are proud of it!
3. No photo even if you post-processed it in GIMP it is still photo
4. No traditional picture. This group is dedicated to digital work made in GIMP.
5. Photomanipulation description must provide links and credit to the reference stocks.
6. Put you work to the proper gallery.

Any deviation not abiding by those rules will be removed with or without notice.

I want to remind you about one more thing: we are not a super group. We have limited space for our gallery, so I want you to think twice before submitting your whole gallery to our group. If the gallery goes out of limit, older works are automatically thrown out by the Deviant engine.

Lastly, I want ask you one thing: mention the software you used in the description in a way that it is easy to spot and not within paragraphs of text please. Thank you.

That's all folks

I need some help.

I'm trying to remove lipstick from the teeth of someone I've photographed.

How do I do this without it looking too "photoshopped."

Typical I use a "Clone tool" for this kind of problem. I magnify place which I need to repair and uses a small soft edged brush. Gimp has a healing tool but i haven't use it so i don't know how good it works

I need some advice.

I like to scan my finelined outlines and then put a threshold filter over it to remove any grey pencil left behind.

However this can leave the outline looking a bit pixelated. How can I smooth the lines out a bit?

Typically I make few layer wit outline and blur them and then merge all layers. Sometime it need a few test before it will look good but is works.
